The “Main Information Display” page presents consumers with key information available for that product. The title, trailer or preview video, cover art, plot description (synopsis), genre, cast and credits are displayed in an easy to read and access format. The process of consumer media discovery is enhanced though links to related titles by genre, actor and current similar releases with the “More Like This” button.

Retail Preview Interactive is easily customized to show your store logos, promotions, and colors.

Product Detail Sheet

Clicking or touching the “Learn More” link, displays one of the thousands of product detail sheets.

Consumers can see any additional information that is available on the title, empowering them to select what they want to buy.

The product detail sheet can be printed on a local or networked printer.

Discover Similar Content

The “More Like This” feature displays recent releases of similar titles by genre. This feature helps consumers discover recently released, similar content.

Inform your customers of your latest releases, and highlight featured inventory.

Cast Link

Clicking on or touching a highlighted cast or credit link displays all the titles in which that cast member has appeared.

Example

In the example shown “Clint Eastwood” was clicked and the resulting search shows all the titles available that have “Clint Eastwood” listed as a cast member.

Simply clicking or touching the title display takes the consumer to the main information page on that title.

Genre Link

Clicking on the Genre Link will take the consumer to Browse Screen displaying all the titles available for viewing that matches the genre selected.

View all Titles by Genre

The “Browse” page displays all available titles by genre classification. Clicking on any genre category displays all the titles that are classified by that genre. Consumers can click on any title and are directed to that titles main information page.

Browse and Discover

Example, clicking on the Action/Adventure genre displays all the titles classified with action/adventure, alphabetically and allows the consumer to browse and discover new titles.

Intuitive Search

Type in a product title, partial title, cast name or keyword and the intuitive search displays all the possible matches.

Example

Example, a search for “zombies” displays all the media titles containing the word zombie, a genre listing for zombie and a credit match for Rob Zombie as both an actor and a director.

Clicking or touching any of these elements will either take the consumer to the main information page for that title, a list of titles with a genre classification of zombie, or by clicking on Rob Zombie will display all the titles available for that actor/director.


On-Screen Keyboard
The main Search screen provides a toggle between the movie and video game database.

A touch screen or mouse compatible on-screen keyboard is provided for both touch screen or mouse interaction. Standard keyboard inputs are also fully supported.

Scan and Discover

Scanning of a products UPC/EAN code displays the main information page associated with product. Scanning is one of the key interactive features of Retail Preview providing a useful starting point for consumer media discovery. Many studies have shown that when consumers sample a product they tend to buy that product and other related products, too. Scanning of a product UPC/EAN code is supported from any page or system mode.

Recent Release Scroll

The Main Default Page is designed to attract shoppers to sample new titles.
The Recent Release Scroll displays the cover art for the most recent releases.
